DESCRIPTION:Hello SASC Skippers and other Sailors! \nSASC Water Women are holding this year’s Rally for Fun in a few weeks on Sunday 2ndNovember. \nWe need generous skippers with one or two of their crew who are willing to take out one or two additional people (with potentially limited or no experience) for a gentle sail\, appropriate to the experience level and conditions on the day. \nWe’re asking those who’ve been involved before or have expressed an interest to let us know if you\, and/or your boat can attend & if so\, how many people you are able to take. \n  \nIt’s a great opportunity to get new people into the club and introduce them to sailing. Bring along any friends you’d like to invite. DESCRIPTION:Please contact racing@sasc.com.au if you would like to join us at the SASC on Wednesday 29th October 2025\, for an informative evening on the Racing Rules of Sailing. \nThe evening will discuss sailing terminology\, refresh your knowledge of the current racing rules and explore specific situations that can arise during a race. \nThis will be a highly interactive session\, with plenty of time for Q&A. \n\nThe venue is the SASC Clubhouse – No 1 Green St\, Cremorne.\nDoors open at 6pm\, and the bar will be open.\nSession starts at 6.30pm.\nYou can access the clubhouse from the Green Shed – a tender shuttle will be available from 6pm to 6.30pm.\nThe tender will also operate after the session ends.\n\nContact racing@sasc.com.au if you require further information.

DESCRIPTION:Centenarian Yacht Rally and Display\n																														 \nPROGRAM FOR SUNDAY 12TH OCTOBER ON WATER \nExperience Sydney sailing history by visiting the Century-old fleet at the Sydney Maritime Museum Heritage Pontoon from Wednesday 1st October. Yachts on display include Hoana(1925)\, Jenny Wren (1889)\, and 13 other yachts.  On Sunday 12th October the fleet will leave the Maritime Museum led by the James Craig and muster in Athol Bight for a lap of honour around islands in Sydney Harbour followed by a gathering of the fleet at the Sydney Amateur Sailing Club.  \nRegister to crew\, volunteer or join the spectator fleet on Sunday 12th October or call SASC Office 02 9953 1433 for more information.  OR just come down to the clubhouse after 1pm  on Sunday 12th October to join the festivities. \nCentenarian Rally registration
