Capturing SASC Moments

Gallery

The Sydney Amateur Sailing Club (SASC) recognises John Jeremy for his incredible dedication over the past 50 years. John has taken thousands of photographs of the Club since he joined as a member in 1971, capturing members, yachts, events, volunteers and more.

A selection of his photos is available for everyone to see and access, providing a lasting visual record of the Club’s history. John is a fine example of the spirit of an SASC member, devoting his time and effort.

Through the Lens

John’s contribution goes beyond just photography; it reflects his commitment to preserving the Club’s legacy for future generations. His photography documents moments in time, but also captures the camaraderie, passion, and sense of community that defines the SASC. Through his dedication, John has created a resource which benefits all members, both now and in the future.

Over the years, other members have also contributed their own photographs, providing different perspectives and enriching the Club’s visual history. We welcome and encourage all members to continue this tradition by sharing their photos, adding to the collective memory of the Club and ensuring that everyone can enjoy these moments for years to come.
