Welcome to The Amateurs

Founded in 1872, The Amateurs is one of the oldest yacht clubs in Australia. For over 150 years we have brought together people with a love of boats and a love of sailing – this is still the core of everything we do today.

In a stunning location on the shore of Mosman Bay, The Amateurs is home to a diverse fleet of modern and classic yachts.  Our slipway, workshops and moorings are a great asset for boat owners and our social events are enjoyed by members and guests.
