We are already well into racing and I wish you all a safe and successful
time on the water. Since Christmas there have been three races abandoned due to storm warnings, so when we do manage to start a race we should be truly thankful.
I would like to take this opportunity to introduce a new member to our
club — just launched on Sunday 1 December. A brand new, freshly
caulked, Ranger-class yacht called Volunteer, with sail number A6.
“My entire experience with SASC has been great. I sailed as crew first so I could get to know the club and see if I would fit in. Without a doubt, SASC is the club for me. So welcoming and I love their social events.”
Margaux
“I have been a SASC Member for 6 years. I live on the other side of Sydney Harbour, and have my boat moored at SASC and race every week. Getting crew has been easy and the club has always been reliable and diligent.”
Warwick
“My husband and I have been members of SASC for nearly 30 years and would say mostly due to the club camaraderie. We have made life-long friends and enjoyed all the races, regattas and events.”
Leone
We acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of the land on which we gather, the Cammeraygal people, and pay our respects to their Elders, past, present, and emerging. Cremorne Point, known as Woolwarra-jeung, holds significant cultural and historical importance. We honour their connection to this land and its waters, and we strive to foster respectful relationships with all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples
